Technology Web Poll III: Results

The Jacobs Media’s Technology Web Poll III is the largest study of its kind. This groundbreaking national survey is the latest follow-up to a study first conducted in 2005. Jacobs Media “TechPoll 2007” reveals the new media trends, habits, preferences and impact on radio listening from a collection of over 25,000 respondents. These men and women are a sample-balanced representation of the audiences of sixty-nine Classic, Active, Mainstream and Alternative Rock-formatted stations from coast-to-coast, in markets large and small, including three stations here in Western New York. Hear key findings of the study, including a comparison of new media preferences and habits of Buffalo Rockers to those across the country.

Speaker/Moderator: Judith Regan
A veteran of print, radio and television, Regan is widely known for publishing celebrity biographies including Private Parts (Howard Stern), Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball Got Big (Jose Canseco), The Way Things Ought to Be (Rush Limbaugh), and Little Girl Lost (Drew Barrymore). She has made headlines in the last year for her role in O.J. Simpson’s controversial book, If I Did It. Her television experience includes Judith Regan Tonight on Fox News Channel. She can also be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio every Wednesday.
The panel will provide an overview of what is new in radio, television, print and internet communication and how these media interact across platforms.
